About Hal
I’m Halle, a Minneapolis based performer studying Musical Theatre and Dance along with Exercise Science and Health Promotion at Otterbein University in Columbus, OH.
I am a proud alumni of the Jimmy Awards, Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Spotlight Education Program, and Twin Cities Musical Theatre Training Program. I dedicate all I do to my mentors and teachers across the country who have guided and invested in my dreams.
Along with musical theatre & wellness, I am passionate about teaching the next generation of brave and passionate artists and advocating for equity in musical theatre. I firmly believe our generation will be the change toward a more compassionate and inclusive industry.
“minne” apple to the big apple
Growing up in Minnesota left me with a love for the snow, an unwavering faith in “Minnesota Nice”, and the inability to say “bag” or “flag” without someone asking if I’m Canadian. I truly owe it all to the theatre and dance community of the Twin Cities - I do it for you.
my favorite things…
I am an avid reader of everything from classics to romcoms, so please ask me for a book recommendation - it’s my love language!
My greatest joy is spending time with loved ones! I spend every moments I can with my best friends, boyfriend, family, twin niece and nephew, and English Setter puppy, Guthrie.
I try to fill my days coffee dates, hydrangeas, my guitar, and, of course, dancing.
